- I hear nothing after I
successfully installed your software and run it. What's wrong? What
should I do?
Please go to Control Panel->Speech->Text to Speech, and then click
review voice, you will see a message: "This voice cannot be played.
Please try selecting another voice or selecting a different audio output
device." This means you didn't install your sound card driver
correctly. In some situation, you can play music or movie on your
computer, because Microsoft XP installed a default driver for "Audio"
players. But you must know that "Audio" and "Speech" are quite different
issues in computer, so maybe you can not use the speech function
although you can play music.
Please install your
sound card driver again. (Normally the driver is on the CD of main
board, because the sound card is integrated with main board.)

- I received the software

Open Internet Explorer,
click View->toolbars and check NVRIE bar.

- I want to convert text to
audio files, what is the file size limitation?
Since Windows file size
limitation is 3G per file, you can only create an audio file which is
smaller than 3G. If the text file is very big, you can convert it by
reducing the audio quality.

- About the Enterprise
version's batch converter, how many files can I convert at one time?
Technically, that is no
limitation. You can convert a large number of text files to audio files
simultaneously. But if one of them is very big, the audio quality will
be reduced automatically. Please convert big text files separately.

- Does NaturalReader
Enterprise support VoiceXML version 1.0 or 2.0?
NaturalReader
Enterprise version only supports SAPI 5 XML controls, such as speaker
tag, speed tag, and pause tag.

- Your software doesn't work
with some PDF files.
NaturalReader can not
read PDF files protected by Copy Right. Anyway, you can use the Adobe
Reader embedded reading function: go to view->read out aloud.
